We're book-fans from several different countries, who have luckily landed in Munich. We're an international book club that tries to meet monthly to talk about books. Sometimes we succeed. Since we're all furiously learning German, we discuss said books auf Deutsch. It's fun for us, but possibly painful for native speakers sitting nearby.
Nobody wants to save their linguistic howlers for posterity, so all original posts in this blog will be written in English. German language input will inevitably come from other sources: websites, book reviews, etc. We'll keep you up to date with everything about book authors, book reviews, book publishers, book nooks, and book events in Munich that we can possibly discover.
This is where you come in. Do you have a book event to recommend? Want to send us an author recommendation or book review? Know of someone who writes, publishes, photographs, paints, reads, dusts, stacks, alphabetizes, makes, or is otherwise obsessed with books?
